To care for your Roma frame we recommend using a soft, lint free cloth that is free of dyes or chemicals. Slightly dampen the cloth with water, do not use harsh or abrasive cleansers. We do not recommend any type of conditioner, or chemical to be placed on the frame. Simply dusting the frame, and cleaning it with a damp cloth should help keep your frame looking good for its expected life. Remember that our frames are made from wood and other natural materials, which can be affected by age, exposure to sun, heating, cooling and humidity.
Use nail hole and corner filler (black) to fill any gaps in the joined frame corner.
With a small wood tool (may be manufactured from a simple piece of wood, or alternately use a small piece of smooth cloth), apply nail and hole filler where required.
Wipe of excess (try not to use more filler than needed) with a soft damp cloth.
If corners become shiny; using masking tape (to avoid scratching alternating corner grain), mask each rail separately and with a 000 grade of steel wool rub each rail slightly to remove any shine.
Ensure that you apply light even pressure to the rail and continue until desired finish is achieved. The use of a sanding block will aid in applying even pressure.
Repeat Step 5 if necessary.
